x-cream DRM?

Hi all,

I would like to make a contribution to the group. I have 2 files a friend sent me. He purchased them from X-Cream and I don't have the license, id or password to view it. Should I post the two files anyway? All I can see is green and moving white boxes.

If they are DRM protedted and you do not have the code they are almost useless to most of us. There was a crack program out in an underground website but it was quickly removed before it was allowed to be downloaded.

Your friend can remove the DRM useing tunebite 7 if he has the code.

Thanks for the offer D, but (like Speedo already suggested) the video files are probably still DRM'ed if you are getting prompted for a username/password. If that is the case we are all probably out of luck because, even with the username and password, the DRM key has to be updated in your C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\DRM folder before you can play it. :notagain:

Still, its strange that you can view any video at all... Usually Wind_wsMediaPlayer won't even allow you to open a file that is DRM protected.

I can give it a try if you want to go ahead and post the links to the files.

I believe all you need to do is create a x-cream acc and you should be able to view it.

They would prompt you to enter you account log-in when you play the file.

I'll see if he will do it and send them to me - I'll let you know if I can upload them.

The X-Cream site is in Japanese and I can't find an English version. I did find the logon page but am not sure how to create an account. I believe you need to purchase something to get an account. I'm going to try to speak to my friend and see if he can hack the 2 boxing videos.

I can't find out how to upload

Okay - I'm not really a newbie and I've uploaded my share of files - but I can't find where I can upload two videos to this group. I checked the FAQ's and nothing - any help would be appreciated.

I upload my pics to Imagebam and insert the thumbnail link into my post, and I upload the vid to MegaUpload and insert the link back to MU into my post.

That's great - thank you. I'm going to upload the 4 videos I have. They don't work for me but someone may be able to crack them. In the mean time I'm reaching out to the guy who gave them to me to see if he can remove the protection.
