Immersive 3D Content and Enthusiasts (oh boy...)

Yikes! The pressure is on! Hopefully the version I have is different for you?

Dang it looks like the source itself has the weird aspect ratio. When watching in VR, I actually have to make an effort to bring the video into focus.

Is there a quick and easy fix for adjusting and saving to a different aspect ratio? I'm not sure if that would even fix the issue.

-Wait a sec... I think the video was meant to be configured for the eyes to be up-down instead of left-right

Play it as the MKV on your PC. You'll see it either stacked or side by side. Stacked = up-down. :D

Right, that what I suspect is the issue. This particular title is SBS for some reason when I think it should be stacked like other DSVR titles

It looks like the majority of JAV VR titles are stacked. Maybe DSVR-022 was meant to be stacked, but mistakenly got produced SBS? Just speculating lol

They certainly didn't do something right!

As @Raijinnn pointed out about DSVR-022 it seems the studio possibly encoded it incorrectly? This title notwithstanding, has anyone ever tried any type of corrective re-encoding with VR titles? For some reason my MeGUI and AVISynth are on the fritz! I can’t get them to work anymore, which is why I haven’t posted any 60fps titles in QUITE some time. If I had them working I would attempt to turn their SBS into TB and see if that corrects anything, although, I’m thinking it wouldn’t.

OK I made a short 8 second clip using Sony Vegas Pro. I made it as TB and tested on Samsung gear and it looked fine.

I started working on this last night as well. As I was encoding a 2 min. TB test clip, my software crashed on me, but I was too tired to start over.

It's good to hear that changing it to TB fixed it. Was the editing process difficult in SVP?

First I went to File/Properties and then I went to the Stereoscopic 3D Mode and selected Top/Bottom (Full)

Then I used this youtube video as reference

I was going to render it (at 2160 resolution) but it was taking too long ETA 2 hours+ so I canceled it. I think the file was going to be larger than 2GB. Im not sure though. But the 8 sec clip worked just fine! (38mb)

First off, thank you to all of you contributors for keeping this thread going, and I'm glad @Casshern2 that you're even asking these questions! I'm more of a lurker on this forum because I don't download a lot of JAV VR for one very simple reason - the lack of true POV doggystyle. That's it ;).

It's such a simple thing, but JAV and JAV VR titles rarely have good POV doggystyle. Most of us watch VR because "I'm actually surrounded by 8 girls/having lotion sex/experiencing a sexual subway ride/" POV eye contact immersion is absolutely amazing and personal. In Western non-VR videos, you can find lots of excellent producers filming full-length "1 on 1" and gonzo-style videos, but it's extremely rare to find JAV titles that have more than just a few 10 second POV camera cuts, and most of these cuts aren't true POV or gonzo - they still feel too 3rd person.

As for JAV VR, a lot of the titles I initially get excited about because they may have an actress that I like or an environment that I'd like to actually be in (I like darker, more moody lighting with lots of shiny lotion) usually disappoint once I see the screensnaps. They usually have just one or two camera setups that show maybe sitting in a chair then the standard BJ/cowgirl/reverse cg. (I'm guessing this is for time/budget constraints, finish production in under 4 hours to start the next production?) When I do have sex, doggy is my favorite, but the JAV VR titles can't be my sex replacement until they add more positions like the Western VR companies do.

A couple of my favorites that are missing my beloved doggystyle lol:
Aoi Tsukasa SIVR-004 ( I DREAM of being behind her) (and thank you @xman999 )
Airi Suzumura - PRDVR-012

This one really gets me, just wish it had lotion
Mei Matsumoto - VARM-030

Thanks again Casshern2 for starting up this dialogue, looking forward to seeing more feedback!
WZENVR-004 looks to have if only some brief doggystyle, but in bondage/sm?

Thank you for your time!

Please give me $100:)
Is this sarcastic?
I am very grateful to you who created this thread.
I have not got time to watch AV / VR recently, so I can not post impressions or discussions.
When thinking about being able to contribute to this thread by myself, I thought that it was to convey mistakes to the uploaders.
Even when I posted that the server showed an error, it was written as if I had a cause.
Is posting to point out such mistakes, is it an eyesore?
If so, I will silence. I'm sorry.

May be difficult, it seems that website doesn't allow to share its special vids. shit!
NO SUCH THING! LOL! It's the internet, they can't stop you from doing anything. Don't bother getting subscriptions from or for anyone or sites like that. I'll see if I have them or can get them (unless you're already well on your way to getting them?). I always put up free links and I'll never ask you to register with anything. :windy:(...I mean...I can't stop you if you want to. Haha! Kidding!)

That was definitely sarcasm, my friend. :D Can you explain a little more what you mean by this? "Even when I posted that the server showed an error, it was written as if I had a cause." I hope I didn't make you feel like anything was your fault. At any rate, you are free to contribute in any way you want. We won't silence anyone here.
