Google Play Store told me my brand new Galaxy S8 was not compatible with Skybox. So I had to go into the Gear VR app and download it through there. I wonder if you have a way to get to store apps from within your head gear and try installing that way?
 
Even if you did get Skybox to install on an older phone, it probably won't play vids smoothly. In my case, a note 4, it was able to load up just about any vid, but I had issues with playback. It would be choppy when looking around. So either you need better specs like a note 5 minimum, or skybox hasn't optimized it for older generations.
Edit: Checking now, looks like the G4 came out after the Note 4, so it might have better specs. Also, if you search G4 and Nougat, a lot of stuff comes up. There could be an update coming up if you're patient enough.

Casshern got the new S8? Niceee...hope you start getting those higher resolution VR vids. Those 1600x1600 vids are not worthy of that glorious S8 screen.

Thanks! I'm not a Sora Shiina fan, but it's always nice to see more VoneVR titles get released. Does this mean the Meru, Yuuna, Shizuku, Mia, Suzu, titles are coming!? :blink:

Hello, I'm new here.

First question, has anyone had success with SVP working well with Simple VR Player? It bumps h264 files up to 90frames per second no problem, but I can't seem to get it to detect h265.

Secondly, I bought a bunch of VOVS videos off of dmm.co.jp with a VPN. How were you guys able to transcode it to strip the DRM? I looked on my phone, and it seems the files are with a .wsdcf extension.
Anyone know how to auth it to play so I can capture and save to my desktop to watch with my rift?

Her face doesn't exactly scream "loli" but I'm glad MUM is making VR scene's, curious about their image quality, if it's good downloading them over subyshare will be a pain :gembel:
