Im a total noob with torrents. Tried today to play a DL from the AV idol section.
Windows Media Player then requests a security update. Says it will log my IP address. I found a couple things on the net that talked about license aquisitions, etc.

Anyone know what this means? Is it a problem??

Thanks in advance

Ever try using different programs for playing the video? There's a lot out there.
VLC media player, Windows Media Player Classic (various codecs out there).
