Interesting video by newsgroup ASIANBOSS about Junior Idol.

According to this video and other times when they ask people
on the street about Junior Idol. People seem totally clueless
about its existence.

A English subbed report from TV about Junior Idol:

There is two another similar Japanese TV reports. But I can't find the
videos right now.

A friend of mine made a survey when she was at university
that involved 300 people. None of them knew about Junior Idol.

So it it seems Junior Idol isn't that well known in Japanese society
or culture.

The second video is the proof that the U15 industry went nowhere but downhill since 2007 ... we'll be lucky if there's still mild JI content produced after the Olympics...

Not at all. I know and is well know that pornography means sexual acts explicitly showed that involves complete nude genitalia clearly visible. All this junior idol stuff is nothing more that children on swimwear and underwear modeling in very passive modeling. So by logic, doesn´t fit definition. This is all feminazi propaganda only by hysteric male and female westerns, mostly in the USA overreacting like this::aghh:

If it was child porn then going to your local pool where the kids are in swimsuits or your local gymnastics center by that definition would be porn also. It always takes just "one" idiot to be offended and the "whole world" has to conform to that idiots wishes and ruin it for the majority. The U.S. Is a prime example. i.e. If a liberal doesn't want to own a gun then "NO ONE" can own a gun. Jerks!

Literally speaking they are not but if the poses are too suggestive some might think that as a child pornography. Me, myself, never been a fan of Junior Idol.

Here is my take. I am a big fan of u15, and am a big supporter of it. I can see how some people can see it as pornography if there are provocative images. I could also see how LEA can see that as well. But legally speaking, as long as sex isn't being performed, or you cant see the asshole or vagina, then it should be fine.

Well technically by japanese standards showing the anus isn't considered pornography, only the penetration of the anus. :D

I mean, I know that (who doesn't), but when it comes to kids, I don't think that would really apply.

Yes that's true, though some of the early Nozomi and Miyuu titles like GOD-010 or GOD-002 get pretty close ;P

Further history of these two shows that they should be considered as a divergence, if anything, so consequently - not the best argument.

From my understanding, U15 content is sold openly all over Japan so I find it odd that not many Japanese people even know it exists. But then again, if these U15 companies just started advertising to the world that this content exists, it'd create more problems, and we don't want the U.S. looking into this stuff. But apparently there's a huge chance that the U15 industry will collapse once the Tokyo Olympics start because the whole world might end up finding out about the content. With the foreigners already in Japan you would think that Japan would be forced to get rid of the U15 stuff already, but maybe it's only sold in stores that foreigners don't go to.

When it comes to what ive heard, most of the time you need to know the people who run the store. Most cities that have the shops that sell u15 aren't that big with tourists.

Also, just thought that id add that u15 collapsing is a fear of mine with the Olympics. Might wanna get everything you can b4 the internet police start to crackdown even harder on it, and itd be viewed by LAE as CP. Stock up on u15, and hide it on external drives (for when it does become illegal).
