Just thought I'd introduce myself. First off, I'd like to thank Chompy and anyone involved for putting together such a wonderful place. I've always dreamed of a place like this, and now it's finally become a reality. My friend referred me to this place about two weeks back. One thing I immediately noticed was the friendly atmosphere. Hopefully it stays this way! It's nice to know that many other people appreciate the Akiba-Kei culture. Now, if only more people posted!
I'm 22 years old, and majoring in Japanese literature at my University. I plan on moving to Japan as soon as I graduate (sometime next year). Hopefully I'll be teaching English, or be doing some translating work. My hobbies are video games, J-pop/J-Drama/J-TV, anime, manga, doujinshi, AV's, movies, sports, etc.
