Japanese title: Ｇｕ－Ｇｕガンモ
After a request by jfgslo, I put all what I have about this obscure (except for frenchies) comedy show from 1984.
Which means 4 episodes in french dub and few short clips.
There is 50 episodes in total (broadcasted from March 1984 to March 1985), plus a short movie made for the "Toei Anime Festival" in March 1985. Each episode is made of two stories, or sometimes a bigger one in two parts.

It's quite a weird thing that Ganmo doesn't appear in Share. Almost all 50 episodes have a hash in Winny it seems (but no chapter 8 unfortunately).

The key to finding Gu-Gu Ganmo files is using only the term ガンモ as the Gu-Gu part can change depending on which font is used.

Episode 13 went through, it was rather fast on Winny's standards.
Looks like it's not the "missing" episode in french listings.
Since I cannot find episode 08 on Winny, I search for another one instead, and put 08 query on Share.
The quest continues...

I was very happy when I could see both shows in the "Mangas" channel, in the beginning of this year. Cannot stop laughing at them.
I wish these two and also "Kimengumi High School (Le Collège Fou Fou Fou)" get finally released on DVDs in my country.

Where is episode 08? I'm sure there must be at least one file available over the net. Otherwise it wouldn't have appeared in emule some years ago.
By the way, isn't High School! Kimengumi being fansubbed in French by Gensoteam? I think they are also doing Dr. Slump (1980s).

Thanks to elgringo14, I was able to download the episode 08. It took me longer than expected, but I finally managed to upload it. Unfortunately, I had to divide it in parts of 50 MB, but perhaps someone else may be able to upload it without dividing it.

Just use a rar compatible extractor. Be warned that this isn't the infamous public bath episode as we believed. I have no idea which episode has that chapter.

I don't get why you had to split the file in such small pieces, some mirrors don't accept over 50 MB files ?

Anyway I made a megaupload link for the complete file, in the first post.

I cannot tell what is the correct episode you're looking for, maybe episode 4, but the goal is to get them all anyway, so we'll have it at some point :XD:

I had to divide in 50 MB because the uploading process kept failing several times. That is, whenever I'm uploading something big, it normally takes several hours to finish. This isn't the first time that this happens to me and that's why I normally try to avoid uploading files bigger than 100MB. Of course, that means I cannot use P2P programs during the uploading process. It gets frustrating after your upload reachs 70% only to fail because of some server error or even worse, when the upload is complete but it fails to give the download link. With 50 MB, it takes less times and it matters little if the upload fails since it's relatively easy to re-upload (that's obviously incredibly annoying to do with a +300 MB file). I wish there were some filesharing services which allowed you to upload your files in different sessions and saving the amount of MB that you had already uploaded.

I wonder why the episode in emule says it's episode 08. I've re-checked the information about episode 08 and the one we got is the correct one. I also wonder where this confussion came from. It's going to be a slow process but I'm sure in time will be able to get Ganmo fully, and perhaps then some group will fansub the series. I'd really like that.

This is one of the two versions of this episode available on Share. This is smaller but the quality is ok. However, this isn't a DVDrip. I will try to download the DVDrip version but my priority is getting as many different episodes from Ganmo as possible.

This is the only episode out of 50 where I could not find the same DVDrip version as all the others (DivX5.1 VGA QB90 DVD).

Doing a torrent will make sense when we have the complete series. Which is far from being the case.
Right now I'm uploading files as soon as I get them.

If you want to help the progress, all files are on the Share & Winny p2p networks, so try to use these programs.

And I'm looking desesperately for more french dub episodes, please help if you can !

I´m checking Share all the time, but there are atm only the already finished episode 13 plus the incomplete episode 48, nothing else. Hashes - if existing - could be very helpful.

In fact I have collected all Share & Winny hashes for the DVDrip version of this series. Well not quite all, episode 10 is missing for Share, episodes 8 to 11 are missing for Winny. The episode 10 that we have is another version (TVrip or SATrip).

But for the moment I'll give only a bunch of them. Some that I'm not searching at the moment.
