These dolls might have been posted before, but I have been particularly impressed with Project LEVEL-D's dolls.
They sure are expensive, though.... prices START at around 650,000 yen (~$7200 USD) O_O

Not having a girlfriend makes me feel lonely alot (yes, otaku :shy: ) and I wish I had such a doll.
A year ago a "walk"-doll ended up in my bedroom. It's such a plastic doll looking like a 5 year old that kids can grab by the hand and walk it around. It has glas eyes and blonde hair and I thought she was cute so I put her in bed with me to cuddle as I fall asleep.

Not exactly as realistic as these 5K realdolls, but the feeling was there.

Even if they don't have the sexual parts to live out the wildest fantasies should there be any, it would still be the closest thing to what I'd wanna do irl: giving hugs. :sleeping2:

That may not be a doll, but a store mannequin.

Maybe the guy is a display designer...

Or...it could be that he is a very conscientious person and is taking the doll/mannequin to school as she is dressed in a uniform(?)

Well, actually a mannequin is just a type of life sized doll, (from the Dutch word manikin meaning "an artist's jointed model"). But yeah I know what you mean. Still, going on the subway with a her dressed in that Girl Scout type of uniform.....

That picture cracks me up every time I look at it.

Well, they actually seem to take a lot of care and maintenance. I do not know if they ship out of Japan, you might have to go to Japan to get one.

Check http://trottla.net/ they are the masters of the moment.

update: apparently they ship all over now, they even have their web page in English now, lol.

I would buy one but if someone found it...I don't think I could handle an event like that.
