Hentai rating varies across Japan, US and china.
When Japan rate an anime as hentai it is not really an hentai in US. Among these three regions china has the most lossy rating where many ecchie anime are rated into hentai like Dragon Destiny. US has the most tighten rating where old hentai in Japan are not hentai in their context.
I not going into hentai rating. Error in record what is about? It is also not about censorship. It is about the error in counting of the number of episodes and cutting.
For censorship, there is a large number I have to list down, I not listing it and my record is not accurate. From what I know there is only two countries around the world which licensed hentai anime, the famous US and next is Germany.
Germany did not licensed much titles, the titles they licensed are very rare, not much info on net can be found about these titles.
US, many might not know or ever think of this question. Well... They have licensed more then 60% of the total hentai anime that have been produce in Japan.
For my above words, It is saying that large number of hentai anime there is uncen copy of it.
Error on number of episodes and cutting are result that hentai anime has been release and re-release, licensed and sub which has cause such error.
CUTTING
For those who do not know, US are not able to release scene of loli hentai.

This is ridicules not just the number of ep was wrong there is also cut in two of the ep which I forget the ep number and the scene that was cut. There should be total of 8 ep for twin angels which normally are stated 4 in most website because in the DVD release they pack two ep into one DVD. And twin Dolls two ep. So there should be a total of 2 titles and 10 ep if I was not wrong.

There is only total of 5 ep in this title. there is no ep6. ASM the US licensed company break the ep4 release by D3 into 2 and the ending part of ep4 become the ep6 in US release.

There is no ep5. The ep5 is a movie which under another title called 外道学園Z.

There is many special release. What I am referring to is "THE BEST" special edition which come from Milky and SOD one company which like to come out lots of special series for their anime like Boku no Pico and Anime Nanase.
These release are just re-edit and lump together scene from each episode to form a long special release.
It is no point counting these special ep in the total number of ep.
However for some special there is extra scene

DVDPG of hentai anime like blackmail DVG and bondage game DVG. These are hentai game. The anime are just rip off from the DVDPG. They are not really an anime. Another DVDPG which has such anime beside the two I mention above are Variable Geo. Which has not be upload before.
This mistake are rare but It does occur, what I have written is the error that I able to find and those I still do not know the answer I will start another thread to ask.
My writing is like a mess, I need to gather my thoughts and think back into old memory what I am going to write.
There is a lots of language I cannot understand, I know the language come somewhere from europe so I lump everything into germany.
