I will be visiting Japan soon. I was wondering where would be the best place to buy gravure or junior idol blu-rays. I'm also interested in photobooks. If there is a particular area in Tokyo or a store name to look for, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There are adult stores all over the place. You just have to know what to look for.

Comic ZIN in Akiba might be useful.

There are literally dozens of shops that have JAV & gravure. There are only a few of those that have any junior. Those shops that do also have very poor selections of junior. The best I saw when I was there in April was Surugaya. I didn't see a single junior idol photobook, but that doesn't mean that they're not hiding on some shelves around there.
Best of luck!

The only junior idol stuff I can find is all digital. Makes it tough to purchase. I got two Anjyu Kouzuki from Amazon but those have somehow disappeared :/

When I was in Akihabara in 2010 there was a 3 or 4 story video store that sold JAV and Gravure titles. Maybe it is still there.

Well, when you arrive in Tokyo there will be shops that you can walk in and browse the shelves for this content. I spent hours browsing and was happy with what I found. There is much more digital content around now as the shops just have less and less to sell. Amazon, has long since stopped selling U15 content. It was al due to some crazy SJW bitches that made a stink years ago. Amazon, caved into the pressure and took everything off their site. It was a sad day for us all!
I wouldn't give up hope just yet, also how long will you be in Tokyo? If you plan it well you might be pleasantly surprised by what you're able to find. There is a HUGE factor of luck too. You never know who or when someone's going too sell off their collection or a few titles that they need to get ride of~

It has multiplied. There are dozens of shops that fit this exact description…

Got back from Japan back in August. I found some junior idol blue-rays. Was able to pick up a few magazines that I now have subscriptions to or know where to order them. I've found all the digital photobooks you mentioned. I'm old school; I like hard copy. Oh well. Stumbled upon an idol concert while randomly walking around a park near the emperor's palace. Good lord I didn't realize the hardcore groupies some of those groups had. Every single dance move and chant memorized by the guys in the audience.

Haha. I'd probably be the same if I lived in Japan. I like the girls of Lily of the Valley but don't know how to get any of their music. I just follow them on Twitter.

They have only released one dvd of an old performance. They haven’t released and CDs for sale. Lots of merch though...
