I suppose it's a matter of perception, and opinion. Certainly the incest theme has run its course (thank fuck for that).

But thankfully, the mature genre has its stars still active. Yumi Kazama, Maki Hojo, Ryoko Murakami, Yuu Kawakami, Ayane Asakura, and so on.

Perhaps its a cyclical thing. The current mature JAVs are winding down to retirement, the soon to be "mature" or 30 are ramping up to take their place (I see Hikari Hino, and Yuki Touma being excellent in the mature genre).

Madonna is still producing at its standard rate I believe.
And I'm sure if you dig deep enough you'll find at least another studio specialized in mature women.
