Best Of DMM 2017

I'm glad VR is getting some recognition as a new medium and means of JAV enjoyment! Thanks for providing the highlights all in all. 2017 has been a great year in JAV even despite the recent issues that seem to have changed or are changing the landscape.

Indeed, it's nice to see VR among the best digital releases. I thought the one hour SOD VR movie would be one of them, considering the among of girls featuring in it.
Shouko hijacks the top 10 of the physical releases OMG (4, 6, 8, 9 and 10), well done !

That's a pretty boring collection of movies both in the physical and digital categories.

Don't have an issue with most of the actresses in the list though, but I'm still surprised that Ruka Kanae has been ranked so high for the past few months (She was even on 1 for a while.) because...well, she's barely putting out new movies nowadays. She wasn't placed this high when she was still really active.

I thought the same about Ruka. Maybe her VR releases helped her to rank. On Javlibrary, she apparently had few solo movies this year, but most of time, she featured in movies with other actresses.

shoko making the best seller list isnt surpising, but with that many title is quite surprising. yui hatano brags about this too, but is expected since she's kind of a legend / veteran who possess fame equal to maria ozawa and sora aoi in Asia. nowadays, she depends on filming more titles and niche ones each month to drive sales ranging from odd actors like little guy, black guy, old men, lesbian, vr, gb, solo, orgy, etc. I was expecting yua mikami to be higher on the list, but s1 might be limiting her even though she films a few bold title this year. hibiki like yui is not a surprise. atomi shuri definitely is since i was expecting loli to be a niche and her plastic face to be a niche. Also, ai uehara like yui hatano possess a huge library of titles belonging to different genre. Sometime, they're scenes are recompile multiple times or they appear in different av share by other actresses like American pornstars. I still remember rika tachibana used to have the most exposures since she appears in so many av, but nowadays her works are very tame in comparison to what we've seen over the years, but it's short live as the av industry is prioritizing in playing safe with vanilla and mosaic.
