Since JAV doesn't have to be censored when it's sold outside of Japan does
anyone know if it would be possible for a individual or company
to contact a JAV maker directly and buy unedited movies from them?

Every now and then I come across some unedited movies like an unedited versions of
movies I own. They'll be completely unedited though. Y

I tried checking out the link but it was forbidden. I'm pretty interested in the subject. I know selling uncensored porn IN Japan is illegal, but what is the difference between Heyzo or Carribean or whoever selling uncensored JAV outside of Japan and another company deciding to sell their library uncensored outside of Japan?

There is such a thing known as "Reverse import" and it just so happens that one of those establishment you mention is found guilty of allowing Japanese IPs to access and buy the footages from their site. The Japanese court rule that, by such an act, it is no different than stepping on Japanese soil and selling physical copies of the footage there.

Hans: interviews have been really boring to translate. That and an increased update schedule at ZENRA has made it not worth the time.

jwlim80: still doesn't matter since Caribbean is based out of USA. The most the Japanese legal system can do is attack it's Japan-based portion which they seem to be doing on an off-and-on basis. Caribbean from a USA standpoint (where they're incorporated) is legal. Porn doesn't have to be censored in USA.

I don't know. Besides that arrest-on-sight orders the Japanese police force have for any known Carribean employees on Japanese soil, Carribean have ditch their FBI headers of late in favor of one from Dutch. An indication of a change of operation base from America to Europe ?

Are you sure it’s “arrest on sight” or “apprehend for questioning on sight”? Big difference.

They’ve had a Dutch business address for quite awhile. Some of their smaller sites have used it for their custodian info for some years now. It’s not unusual for larger companies to have multiple offices worldwide. Caribbean still lists a US address for its custodian info as well.

It's direct prosecution last I check, for involvment in the distribution of footages. That was in the Japanese article as well.

And they change their header soon after this arrest, an coincidence ?
