Being from the United States and how many of our main porn stars would never do such scenes. I find most Jav porn stars will pretty much do anything. r***, Piss, Doo Doo etc. Pretty much if you can think of it, they'll do it.
So my question is. Is the culture of porn so different in Japan that these sort of sex acts are normal for these actresses to do? Do they not care or are they truly into this stuff?
I've always wondered this, because so many girls I like, I'll be searching for more of their videos and then I'll come across one of them getting pissed on or having their face used as a toilet, and it will just ruin it for me as a fan...

I honestly can't see how much more money they would offer to do that stuff. I'm sure it's not all that much. And besides, if they where offered more money, they could just do more regular movies to make up the difference. That's why I say Jav Stars have zero dignity.

It varies from girl to girl. I think it is rare to see an S-class actress willing to do everything. For example, many are willing to do bukkake, but not gokkun. Even anal is not common, which is basic in US porn.

One major difference in US porn needing show that the girl is in control, where as in JAV this is not as important, and maybe this is reflected in the differences in types of sex acts performed in US porn vs. JAV.

It has become even less over the last few years, e.g. there used to be way more piss scenes in the mid to late 2000s.
The actresses you talk about are low tier mostly, and they are not really "JAV stars".
They probably aren't getting offered other jobs by the studios. Probably because their films didnt sell well enough, then they'll do that kind of stuff. Somehow they gotta pay their bills, and going into a "normal" job might be difficult, and maybe they don't want to. In the end, people will do just about anything for money.
The r*** theme I guess has a lot to do with japanese culture, where women are supposed to be submissive / obedient, and that obviously turns on a lot of men there, and that's why it is so prevalent in JAV. I also read a lot about people disliking especially ATTACKERS, because of their r*** themed flicks. But what difference does it really make? Oh there is scat, piss, and r*** in the US industry , and almost every other porn industry in the world, it's just easier(in regards to scat) to find in the JAV industry because of how the industry is set up which is movie based, where those industries are more scene based.

Now I could be completely wrong so don't gain up on me but I heard this from someone on the Internet. I heard that Asian women are statistically more likely to have some kind of mental issue , like being insane or something along those lines, compared to every other race/gender combination in the world.

I think that its safe to point out the fact that girls in Japan (younger teenage girls) are much more fetishsized than in the West. And yes I know you can find young teenager roleplay in US porn too, but it's way more common in JAV by far. So I think many JAV actresses probably have had sexual experiences earlier in life, or at least exposed to it growing up. I think Inertia once said that credit card companies in the US object to scat and explicit r*** porn, which is pretty much the only reason why US companies and therefore actresses don't do that stuff.

And even then, how many of the AV girls among the top 100 or top 200 or whatever do you actually see do scat stuff? Admittedly, I don't really look for that stuff, but whenever I see a scat cover while browsing Javlibrary or whatever it's some unknown girl. And I've never seen hat stuff pop up when looking through the really popular girl's past works.

The only exception I can think of is my current avatar girl Rei Mizuna. Not that she was anything close to an AV superstar, but she was popular enough and did lots of regular AV movies for me to be surprised that she still did that stuff way late into her career.

Edit: Piss *is* a lot more common for JAV actresses though.

Just because there's a fetish board here which makes these things easier to find does not mean they're all into it. From what I can see, the majority are lesser known girls. I'm guessing for some reason, you just happen to like the less famous girls which is why you keep finding them in all these videos.

Way, way different industries.

I may be off, but in the west, girls seem to make 'less' when doing 'taboo' things like lesbian sex. What's seen as having 'zero dignity' varies in each culture though as Hans Kowalski wrote, credit card companies and banks in the states are way stricter with what they'll allow (we just had to remove a few movies last week because of this).

Not *that* many JAV stars do scat and outside of the real indies labels, I'll put good money on major label scat being 'poop' of a chocolate nature.

JAV stars may be known for doing more extreme things, but in the case of judging whether something's "obscene"--which in the USA is judged by taking in the work as A WHOLE, I'll side more often than not with JAV. I mean what's harder? A 20 minute scene with no plot featuring multiple men and one woman with double-penetration, irrumatio, and more OR a 2.5 hour story-driven title that may just so happen have portions where an actress may do a few 'questionable' acts?

I'm not really familiar with the scat scene, but now that you mention this, I'm pretty sure the scene in TYOD-257 with Yuu Kawakami swallowing "piss" is really just her swallowing a bunch of water.

Most studios have their own "weird" series. There're only a few studios which I find pretty "normal", like E-BODY, Prestigate, S1, Moodyz. Actresses acting for these studios are also much less likely to be involved in weird and disgusting stuff.

Well, I think this is not objective but from my point of view, Japan is a pretty weird country. For example, many Japanese men like small, childlike actresses instead of actresses with a beautiful face and a beautiful grown-up body, which I find pretty disturbing. And disgusting stuff like urination, humiliation... are also loved by many.
If there were not that many filthy weirdos, I believe they wouldn't produce those kinds of scene.
