I really like this song and this is much better than anything
they released after Ladybeard left the group.
Now it's finally more Rei and Rie instead of trying to be something
that was the past. I truly hope this is the new direction for them.

So true that haters often makes their victim even fight more to succeed. Sadly there are also cases where
the individual wasn't strong enough.
Rei has the advantage of being intelligent and I think we can thank Rie a lot as well.
It was truly good for Rei to meet Rie...as Rie is there for her, supports her and takes so much care of Rei.
I seen even comments that claim Rei wouldn't had the succeed of becoming a artist
or a member of Ladybaby if it wasn't for her U15 past. I find this utterly stupid as it's
truly disrespectful towards Rei and her talents. The judges at Miss iD and
the producers of Ladybaby chose her because of her talents and her personality. It's not like
they where watching her imouto work and decided...we will hire her.
Another important factor when it comes to Ladybaby is that she had to also fit well
with the other members as well. Not just any girl could become a member.
Then even if she never did U15 she could still been competing at Miss iD as she
clearly has a interest in music and got those talents.

Definitely Young Jump from YJ on a "stamp" at the bottom and from Mahohon I conjure that this is the latest issue, that somehow magically wasn't shared here...

I think that you should be aware, that Pelo took 22nd place on 2017年04月24日付 weekly single ranking after selling 2840 copies. Not that I'm shaming fans here.
I also think that this thread warrants a split, as more and more of it is about "Formers", not just Rei...
Young Jump 2017.05.04 No.21 has been shared, but only main photosets, no other pages. I suspect that there is a complete scan (including ~400 pages of manga) somewhere, it has obviously all the pages, but I lost my sources of such scans almost three years ago and honestly not very willing to search for new...
I also think that this thread warrants a split, as more and more of it is about "Formers", not just Rei...

I see you beat me in posting about the sales ranking of Pelo
It was kinda expected that Pelo would have about 2000-3000 sold
CD singles for a place in the chart at 17-22. That's about the amount
most artist sell when ranked at same place.
This result is also what is sold during release week. Total sales numbers
are presented in the end of year. But I doubt they make the top 50.
If not the Pelo single later for some reason becomes more famous.
Not to forget Oricon doesn't count the sales of physical units sold
at events. And the international version of the single will be also
released ahead.
The Oricon single list is only about physical units and not digital
downloads. The weekly sales page says "CD single" sales.
Wikipedia says this:
"Chart rankings are based on physical singles' sales. Oricon does not include
download sales. In Japan, physical sales decreased sharply in the 2000s,
while download sales hit three to four times the amount of single sales."
How well Pelo sold on itunes and other digital media sites I don't now.
I noticed on twitter there was post about Pelo reaching place number one in
the itunes international sales of Japanese singles during release day.
The reality is also that sales for physical media has been dropping the
recent years in Japan. Many idol groups rely more on live show and
sales of merchandise instead. The idol fans have also changed. Especially
the alternative idol scene has different fans. You no longer have the devoted wota
fans who buy piles of singles to just boost their favorite up the charts and sales.
Rei and Rie doesn't seem to have the hardcore loyal fans who are prepared to shell out a a lot
of money. Just compare it with Rina Nagai's idol group G☆Girls that
still have more old school fans and about a hundred of them managed
to get the group a sales ranking of 2577 copies sold. They basically each bought
piles of singles:

Even if the physical sales of The Idol Formerly Known As LADYBABY are
low. I don't think they are doing bad, if they did the major label wouldn't
invest in them like they do.

Rei is a part of The Idol Formerly Known As LADYBABY, so I don't
think it's a problem if its featured here.
Rei's life is basically her artist life now. Shouldn't her activities
in ..Ladybaby and Brats be a part of this thread?
Aren't Rei fans here interested also in this Rei?

Well most of them also do other work than being a gravure model.
And all of them are more than just a gravure model.
At least it keeps the thread alive discussing all sides of Rei
And I try also only post photos that has Rei in them.
Photos with Rie alone I post in her thread.
As I suspected then that the Rei feature in latest Young Jump
is only a article and not a photo shoot. Perhaps its just one page.
On a more positive note, Pelo landed on 7th place in freshly baked CDJapan's single ranking.
@ihmissusi: splitting content on basis of girls seems artificial - not everything has only one girl present; what about stuff with both of them? There should be a thread like for LADYBABY or BABYMETAL, where discussing the group would feel less restrictive.
I wouldn't be worried for individual threads.
I might just start the new thread, but as I'm neither a moderator nor a fan that would be weird. Another thing is that I can't find a +16 forum for it...

As I'm aware there is no similar place to discuss idol groups as this gravure section.
That's why I chosen to post Ladybaby stuff here as well and why I feel it has it's
place here.
But indeed a section for idol groups with their own threads where we can talk freely
about out favorites would nice. Also discuss things related to the idol industry as well.
Perhaps one should suggest this to a moderator?
