There are some vids that convey that regular, awesome sex everyday but hey it's nothing unusual feeling, I do like those (I imagine/identify myself more with studs who have sex regularly with hotties, rather than identify with 40-yr-old virgins who is lame and passive even vs a naked loli). But that's not necessarily a passage of time, if you guys are particularly fixated on it.

Problem is kinda deep, most fans want lot of sex in the AV, say at least 90 mins of nudity and sex and that get broken up into a few scenes. Problem for studio is each scene cost money,change of location, setting up the equipment, change of costumes, re-apply make-up etc and if you have to wait for the natural light or outdoor condition for the passage of time, that's a lot of money too, paying a lot of people to wait around. Once the filming is set up, it cost very little to keep the action rolling for 10-30 more minutes to fill up the vid. So to save cost, the 90 mins get broken up to only 3 or 4 scenes using as few locations as possible. Unless the fans really demand it (most of them only care about the looks of female performers and specific fetish/sex acts and little else), these "production value" get compressed in the budget.

A rare example of a strong story-telling and progression of time is RBD-818 Neighbor Exchange with Nanami Kawakami and Mao Hamasaki. It's one of the more overlooked genre called "Drama" in which the sex scenes are interspersed with lots of talking scenes. The talking scenes were clearly at different locations (different rooms of the home, office, hotel and resort) and different times and days. And of course a drama has story progression, as Nanami was initially harassed by Mao's husband (and neighbor and boss of her husband) at the same time (and separately) Mao began tempting Nanami's husband. The story escalate until finally they created a situation Nanami and her husband has to watch each other as they are being fucked by Mao's husband and Mao.

Not exactly Oscar winning film-making but I enjoy it.
