The Good, the Bad, the Ugly and the Tubby! (And: Film ID)

Who cares about the male actors? Most of us don't partake in our descent into sleazy smut for yearning of the men, but if there comes a point when you sadly watch enough of these things, it can't be denied that the same faces keep popping up again and again. Then you find yourself saying, Oh, okay, it's him again, or Oh, no, not him again and sometimes even, Oh, it's him - good. (Then of course we turn our attention to where it really counts.)

So I wanted to pay homage to the faces that made me take notice now and then, and I also wanted to throw in this pot the question regarding what their names might be. (Not that it really matters..! All in good fun.) In addition, a lesser reason for this post is that there is one film perhaps you might help identify. And I would be appreciative if you would.

So let us begin. I�m going to single out four primary actors, and follow up with three dishonorable mentions. I call the four: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly and The Tubby!

(EDIT: Many months later, Member Nick Wells began a thread entitled "Other performers"... where he has pulled a rabbit out of his hat by placing names to some faces! As of this writing, I could only identify "Tubby" among the sometimes-hard-to-make-out photos featured from his thread - Taku Yoshimura - and he has other familiar faces, some of whom have not been brought up below, but are recognizable.)

1) The Good

I like this guy. He means business. He's got a lot of passion to him, and he's dangerous. You can't mess with him.

Here he is from HBAD106, a Female Teacher Assault flick. Note that almost imperceptible smirk on his face. He smirks because he knows he's always got the upper hand.

Let's attend to the film that needs to be identified, right now.

I call this actor "Tenant," from this film he first impressed me with. I don't know if he plays the role of a tenant here, given that non-Japanese speakers can only guess at the plots. But the partial clip I downloaded begins with mom and dad looking through the front window of their home, only to see their "tenant" put the moves on their daughter.

"Tenant" notices the parents looking in, and then rubs in their faces how he can easily take advantage of their precious innocent.

The father, obviously downtrodden for living in a nation without a Second Amendment, is grief-stricken. Why, if he only owned a shotgun!

Mom finds the courage to go inside to check up on things. She notices that the action has moved on to the daughter's bedroom.

Tenant notices her voyeurism, then gets up to confront her.

He forces mom into another room, and gives her the same business.

He then moves on to the daughter again, to continue his nastiness.

Tenant goes back and forth between mom and daughter. The father finally checks out the action himself, Tenant takes note, and then, with a smirk on his face, passes the man in the hall - rubbing his rapaciousness all over the father's face.

So can anyone I.D. this delightfully perverse fare? If you can't come up with the film's name or film number, perhaps you might be able to recognize the actress who plays the mother; it might then be easier to track down the film.

There was another film that powerfully stressed the I will take your women factor. (Pictured above.) Tenant pulls a boyfriend or husband out of an automobile, locks him up in the trunk, then chases the girlfriend or wife into the woods, to r*** her in the messy mud. Now can you see why I like Tenant? (EDIT: Turns out the movie in question is SBNS039 AKA SBNR039.)

2) The Bad

You probably have seen this familiar face, as he is in every other JAV movie. He usually plays students, but now that he has been in the business for a few years, you can sometimes spot him in a suit and tie trying his hand at more mature roles.

The reason why he is in "The Bad" category is that there is something very stupid about him. Just look at that face! The above portrait is from HBAD091 where he plays a convenience store clerk, and catches his teacher, Emi Harukaze, shoplifting.

He is naturally not going to show Ms. Harukaze any mercy, but part of his �charm,� if you can call it that, is that he often performs his evil in a manner where things are out of his control. (Although there have been times when he can be deliberately malicious, such as Tenant. It is not always easy to believe him in such a role, given that he appears so brain-challenged.)

Here is one of his suit and tie roles, HAVD646, where he engages in �Female Employee Training.� What a knucklehead.

3) The Ugly

If you live in the USA, perhaps you have seen those marvelous commercials regarding "The Most Interesting Man in the World." Well, this guy, whom I call "The Creep," is "The LUCKIEST Man in the World." If not for his career in porn, what woman would give him the time of day?

To make it worse, for such an unattractive fellow, he often plays the kind of role that showcases supreme arrogance. Even when he plays a store clerk, terrorizing the gorgeous Juri Yamaguchi for shoplifting (in JUKD799), above. (EDIT: No, actually the beauty in question is Chinami Sakai, AKA Yukari Mamoru, appearing in another film from the same series, JUC-119; the Creep actually frames her, by putting merchandise in her bag!)

When he is cast in the role where he is the boss, then he has more of an excuse to let loose with his cocky expressions, signifying that he is such a big shot, as above; here he is a school administrator, and he has one over on "High Handed Female Teacher" Maki Hojo. [HBAD098]

Above, the beautiful Sayaka Minami plays a saleslady forced to go door-to-door in JUKD946; she's not good at what she does, so she needs to make up for it in other ways. The Creep, as her superior, makes sure to join the line of douchebag customers in giving her abuse. The problem is, he is so confident in himself, as though he is God's gift. What exactly does he have to be so confident about?

4) And... The Tubby!

This actor is a piece of work, and always a pleasure to watch. He is hardly the stud type, so when he plays Romeo, it is interesting - if you can suspend your disbelief. The above is from MDYD623, where he plays a Peeping Tom against "Sexual Big Tits Mother" Hitomi Araki, a fitting role for him.

What makes Tubby a pleasure is that he often has fun with his roles. He really hams it up with his amusing facial expressions. He's a comedian!

But just as with the circus clown who suddenly looks ominous under a street lamp at midnight, Tubby can be quite the handful when he treats his roles seriously. In the above he is the brother-in-law getting ready to "Incest r*** Beauty Wife" Haruka Sasaki [RBD249].

He doesn't pull any punches on poor Haruka, and does she go through the mill..!

EDIT, again:
Sadly, in his more recent opuses, Tubby has lost his adorable weight. He has become an untubby Tubby. Here he is, from RBD-473, where Aoi Aoyama finds herself unable to resist Tubby's now-svelte charms.

Let us now move on to the Dishonorable Mentions:


Mr. Dignified

It's not only because he is older that Mr. Dignified brings a sense of integrity to his roles; he just has an air about him. Granted, he has been in roles where he can either be humiliated or evil, but one can't help feeling a modicum of respect for the fellow. Above, he plays a store manager who, along with a store worker, gives it to another Degenerated Shoplifting Wife - Saeko Higuchi, aka Chisa Kirishima [JUKD-883]. Tubby also puts in an appearance as the husband, in this one.

The Un-Juvenile Delinquent

I've been seeing this actor more and more, and he brings a special quality to his presence. Because he has long hair, and because his hair color is dyed, we are to look at him as a rebellious youth - even though he is probably aged around thirty. The Un-Juvenile Delinquent offers a believable punkish quality, which is great when he begins to treat his female victims with such disrespect. He is also not handsome, and that helps. In the above view, he mistreats poor Satsuki Kirioka in SPRD465, often translated as "Decay Class." Ms. Kirioka, so delightful with her elegant and sophisticated appearance, plays a teacher in a class of troublemakers, both girls and boys (and at least one man, in the form of The Un-Juvenile Delinquent), and gets bullied from beginning to end.

Finally:

The Bald Thug

When an actor sporting a shaven head is in a porn cast, it becomes easier to believe that he will add an extra touch of mayhem. While this one is hardly the only bald performer, you can count on him adding more than the usual brutishness. He's an animal! In the above, he plays a picker-upper in one of the better "Nampa" movies, JUC504, often translated as "Amateur Madam Hunting 4." The reason why the Bald Thug adds a welcome flavor to this flick is because he walks that fine line between consensual sex and r***, and he makes it believable. When the time comes for him to go into action, it's lights out!

The wonderful Satsuki Kirioka plays the victim from the above shot, SPRD503; it's a great movie. Apparently, former students trick their old teacher into a reunion, get her drunk, persuade her to play Twister while undressing her slowly, and then bang the daylights out of her. Each "boy" takes his turn (the cast also includes The Un-Juvenile Delinquent), but The Bald Thug, complete with his trademark earring and goatee, is saved for last. That's because he is the wildest of them all, and no doubt shook away more than a handful of Satsuki's brain cells.

I've been meaning to pay note to this actor for the longest time, but have always had better things to do. Just ran into him again, and I figured I had better bite the bullet and make up a post. Let's call him:

The Evil S.O.B.

Here he is, from Dangerous Part of The Married Woman, with Chika Arimura and Miu Natsume [JUC-689].

He's got a distinctive looking face, although I'm not sure if the shot above will get you to recognize him; let me dig up another view, this time from Gangbang r*** College Student, with Saya Aika [CRS-028].

Again that doesn't do him justice, but I don't feel like doing more hunting. This guy's a kick to watch, because he is just so mean. Aside from the way he behaves, he just looks like an incarnation from the pits of Hades, what with the corners of his eyebrows perpetually raised in the "up" position. He is the embodiment of Lucifer, that's what he is.
