Personally, I think that requiring uploaders to use at least one common host for every media is an awesome idea and should be enforced.

I don't believe in getting free stuff (I've always donated to sites that provided me with great free services) and the fees are ridiculous compared to the gains. I've never really understood the people who won't pay a cent and still complain, I think I see the same type of persons at the post office, in ticketing queues, and this is very strange to me.

Now, I have to admit RS sucks big time, my card(s) are always refused, they don't have option 2 any longer (some kind of Vietnamese provider if I recall) and it seems it will take me one day or two to actually send them money and get a new premium key through a third party.

If they can't invest in a proper visa card processor, after all this time, I think an alternate host should be investigated. I'm happy I don't have to buy this host and then this host depending on the movie/ file that I want and I totally support the at-least-one-host-rule for many reasons, but these guys do need to get their shit together and at least be able to process payments!
(when I'm premium everything works beautifully)

As of now Ryushare has no payment options for American users. I used to like Ryushare, but their system has been nothing but a pain in my ass. They don't even have take the initiative to at least get rid of their American site, yet we can easily get as far clicking on the premium selections and entering the email for further assistance. Why keep the site like that when you clearly don't have any options for Americans? It's like one huge troll site for people in the US. Since most users on this site don't blink an eye to members possibly having other hosts, they simply post ryushare links and nothing else. I've got a rapidgator account, and a bitshare account ready to go with none of the stupid problems that I face with Ryushare.

As of this minute, the first post for any new download on akiba-online must contain a ryushare link until further notice. You can post other hosts too, but it must include ryushare link(s).

I am puzzled...:alone:
Can I upload to other hosts (like Google Drive), and post links in the sub-forum except DDL sub-forum?

not sure what you are puzzled about,

I would not post anything to google as a filehost, and expect it to stay there very long, think about who owns it,

if it is a DDL then why post it somewhere else

all post must have a working ryu share link, when posting

I used ryusharepaypal dot com to renew premium a couple of days ago. Took 8 hrs to receive key... operators communicated well. No problems.

Fact is there far to much content on Ryushare I want & need right now. Gotta have it.
There is really nothing to fuss over here. Enjoy it while it lasts! Just remember Megaupload, Oron etc. - they all bite the dust sooner or later:nobelieve:

As of today, September 30, I cannot renew my Ryushare premium account through the Ryushare website. When I click on the Ryushare banner on Akiba or anywhere else, I get the website and the screen where the options for subscription are presented, but clicking on 75 DAYS takes me to the KAGI website, not to the usual screen where you input your payment method, etc. Kagi handled my last renewal, but this time no success. I used Kagi's own search feature, but still got no Ryushare information of any kind. I have e-mailed Ryushare but have not yet received a response. Anyone else having problems?

The Kagi is no good for USA. There was a paygate that I had success with last month but when I went to renew, they wanted me to send a picture of my credit card ( first 6 and last 4 numbers and a picture of both sides of my drivers' license. I am not comfortable putting this kind of info on the web and no one has ever asked to do that before! Does anyone know of a reliable seller for the USA?

I am not surprised you do not want to put that info on it, I would not either, I use a prepaid card with virtually nothing on it, why they want that info is way beyond me, unless it is for spying purposes

That's what I was thinking. Funny thing, I ordered from him last month so you think I'd be remembered.

I'm putting out for others to know a recent problem with RS that I've had:

My account was hacked. I couldn't retrieve my password because the %$#&* hacker changed the email address on the account. When I contacted RS support, they said the account email belonged to juiojh@aol.com. I asked them to stop all payments because I had about 140 euros to cash out. They asked me to show proof that I was the owner of the account. I did, listing most recent uploads and providing a screenshot of their last payment transaction. And then no reply since 9/30. I've messaged them 3x but dead air.

So either RS is run by the US government (because shutdown) or something seems fishy to me.

As an actively uploading member of Akiba, this puts me in distasteful spot. I haven't been uploading because I don't have access to my RS account. I've lost 140 euros probably. And I'm going to have to create a new RS account because of the RS rules here, even though I think RS is a douche.

I'm not complaining about Akiba being sponsored by RS because bills gotta be paid. I've never even complained about their dreadful limits. But uploaders should maybe be cautious.

I'm confused about using Ryushare.

I used to be a premium member and had no problems. However, now I use it as a free member (well... I TRY to use it) but I have been unable to DL anything from there in many months. Whenever I click on low-speed download it always gives me the message "you have reached the download limit" yet I haven't downloaded anything for a long time. Anyone else have this problem? I contacted ryushare but they just shrugged their shoulders at me and said it was my IP's fault. I'm in China but I had no problems with RS as a premium member before....

Ryushare is now a "must be a premium member to download" service. The owner of Ryushare is a Vietnamese douche, he banned all Vietnamese IPs , he's treated his own race and clients like shit. Don't be fooled by his high paying affiliate program he just uses you to make more money. It's such a shame that Ryushare bribes Akiba to force everyone to use Ryushare links which are now only available for premium users. If you paid for this piece of shit service you have been ripped off, don't give your hard earned money to the Vietnamese, they can not be trusted.

I don't think that any of the members here should break the rules set by the Admin(s). Most of us did NOT pay any of our money to this forum. So, why not think these rules as another way to maintain this forum? Right?

If you paid for this piece of shit service you have been ripped off, don't give your hard earned money to the Vietnamese, they can not be trusted.

BTW, what you said was NOT respectful to the Vietnamese. Though I am not Vietnamese, and I am Taiwanese, I think we should respect to all the races in the world.

I'm a Vietnamese myself so I know damn well how bad my people are, Vietnam is a Communist country what would you expect? Just think of your brother China see how bad they behave we Vietnamese are even worse. Lying and cheating are our personality now.

I have never been to Vietnam, I have heard a lot of good things about Vietnam, and spoken to a few Vietnamese in real life and online, I will admit there does seem a little difference, but for the most part, it does not matter where in the world you are from, most people are good, yes there are bad people in every place, but lets not bemoan ourselves or others, and across the boarder from Vietnam is China and I have been there, and the people were really friendly to me, so lets forget this unhappy episode, (and do not blame communism, and I bet it is more of a dictatorship)

Back to the real nature of this thread,

Ryu Share does a good job in supporting this board, and one thing is certain, is that every post has a ryu share link, so you will only have to subscribe to one file host, of course there are other choices, also it is the posters that set the limit on posts, it is the posters that make it premium only, so do not blame ryu share, all in all it is very simple, one host to download everything
