    Who are the customer target of Zen Movies ?

    All the movies are nothing. :puzzled:

    I don't think much people care about the american movies. They are mostly cheaply made with halloween store costumes and contain very bad acting. No effort is put into the storylines. The actresses are also unattractive for the most part, though that is my personal opinion and I'm sure someone would disagree with that.

    But you still cannot compare them to Zen or GIGA, who both have professional costume designers, stuntmen and action choreographers.

    I'm also not sure what you mean with 'nothing'. Zen produces independent tokusatsu movies for general audiences with a male target audience. If you want adult content, you can look at their GIGA division.

    It really depends on what you are looking for. The fight scenes in Zen are better choreographed than those in Giga. And I find Zen actresses are mostly cuter and can handle the fight scenes better too.

    But if adult content is the only thing someone is looking for, even multi-million Hollywood productions have "nothing" to them.

    They're all shit though. The independent producers are hung up on making every heroine peril video PG-13 now (I miss the mid-2000 days when Rye had some balls). And the big budget ones are stuff like that Axel Braun garbage which is nothing more than a cliche American porn video with dress up.

    It seems like everyone in the western hemisphere is terrified to make any videos that measure up to the level of Giga (old Giga, not the overly repetitive stuff they've been putting out now).

    Nowadays the Giga films lack of bondage and erotism from the actresses. It lacks realism. They basically just screw the actress while she is lying on the floor and making some very fake moaning sound, (I can tell its fake from their facial expressions and tone of voice), it looks just like porn with a dress up actress, doesn't look like a heroine being screwed forcefully while enduring the sexual ordeal till she had forced orgasm.

    I think the directors at Giga are sick and tired of using the same old school method of directing a heroine film, so now they are trying out something new, which I personally think it doesn't work out as good as the old ones.

    I hope they can direct their films using back the old school method and forget about their new methods.

    If I have to compare, I think older Giga films portrayed the raise and fall of the heroine better. Quite often nowadays, there will only be a hasty build up and then the heroine is defeated easily. Then the rest of the film will just be about having sex. I can understand why sometimes many feel they are just watching some other cosplay porn. Especially it is even harder to get into the storyline if we don't understand the language.

    I appreciate the darker tone in older Giga films. But we have to admit the productions in the new stuff are way better. The costumes are really well made and the actresses are more beautiful in general. At the end of the day, Giga is the best in the business anyway. Once in a while, Giga still come up with a title that I find really interesting and wouldn't mind spending 10,000yen on the dvd. Of course it's rare because that's really expensive. That's why I really appreciate the contributors here, especially Rayheng, because you helped us save a lot and make many informed decisions.
