I think that guy knows a little English but doesn't know how to express himself in English. A lot of Hongkongese know a little English but not good at it. Let's not be so hard on people like that. It's not easy to learn a second language anyway.

I believe nobody attack the original poster, it's just a reminder that English is needed in this forum, which imo fair enough.

Most here I'd bet were asians anyway.

But if we don't set the rules, it'll slowly become an acceptable norm and everyone will be speaking / typing in another language, and it'll become a problem.

Besides, it's not like exams. He can do well with a few general English like thanks, or something. At the age of the internet it's not a hard thing to do, specially if y ou developed an interest in an English forum, the least you can do is learn to adapt the language.
