Every animes where ABe Yoshitoshi is implied (love his style), my favourite is Haibane Renmei that where a great accomplishment (graphics, story, musics). Also found of Leiji Matsumoto's stuff. I also liked recently Ergo proxy, even if the chara-design evolves in a strange way though.
I have always been a Ghost in the Shell fan. Along with the two films, the additional Stand Alone Complex series has been insane. Plus I'm a Shirow fan. What more to say.

I like Noir, Eureka seven, Gundam series and Macross series and Emma. Azumanga daio is really cool so. About Gainax working, I like Gunbuster and secret of blue water than evangalion. The one with the sharp story is old animation, Platlabor. My most favorite anime is Macross: do you remember love. Last 30 miniutes of this movie is really perfect working with the music. ^_^ Did you ever seen my lists? If you don't, I suggest to see. :goodboy:

Noir by far, it has a gripping story that doesn't let go and a long with a the dub that's is amazing but the characters are some of the best.
