    How do I set up Rapidshare files? I ordered this DVD, got it, and now I want to share it, but I need advice on how best to convert the DVD files to an AVI format, then put them on Rapidshare.

    Just got that one as well, though via DMM-stream. A DVD rip would be better.

    Personally I use DVD Decrypter to extract VOB files from the DVD and then AutoGK to turn the VOBs into AVI movie files. I think there are programs that combine the two functions, but I'm not an expert on that.

    You can use Rapidshare's software to uplaod the files (Rapidshare Manager), but if you're a free member then the files can only be downloaded 10 times (correct me if I'm wrong, I didn't follow the changes in Rapidshare's rules too closely).

    I second JaqTaar's method. I've done the same for some stuff I've shared here and elsewhere. DVD Decrypter to rip, AutoGK to convert. I've used ImageGrabber II to make thumbnails (or you can use Media Player Classic's build in 'save thumbnails' option to create a thumbnail of the vid).
