Hey guys, I just wanted to ask if anyone knows, if Game of Thrones is broadcasted at all in Japan and if it is, which program.

Quick Google search tells me that it was aired on Star Channel in 2013. This Star Channel is a Satelite TV station so you have to pay to watch. Maybe that is the reason The Game of Thornes is not that popular in Japan. Heck it is funny to think that such a huge successful TV programme is not a thing in Japan. "24" series is more popular in my opinion.

Also quick wiki search says in China GoT was aired but they heavily censored the sex and violence scenes so the plot was incoherensive. I'm kinda interested in this vesrsion though.

Go rent dvds if you want to watch GoT in Japan :)

But but... that would be wrong....:hihi:

It would really. You should download the individual episodes from eztv.ch, (they are going to be better seeded), and seeing as how kickass deletes a lot of torrents you "might" be better off finding full season torrents at thepiratebay.se ( if you can't access TPB directly try proxybay.info). There are a number of well seeded season torrents there of very good quality. Mind you, I use kickass all the time but I hate that they delete great torrents. I also usually download from uploader ettv because his uploads come up first and he is an awesome tv show uploader representing Extratorrents.

I get a few shows from there, but most of the time I get stuff off of usenet. I downloaded the first ep. of Game of thrones I watched from eztv and 5 hours later I got a email from my ISP for copyright infringement for it. So I stick to usenet for more prominent pirating. I don't know if it's really all that much safer, but I've never gotten a notice for something I've downloaded. Whereas I have gotten 2 or 3 from torrents, a pretty small number for the years I've been online, but still I'd rather not get them.

Wow. I have never gotten a notice myself and I download torrents constantly, often 24/7 (slow upload speed). I wonder who your ISP is? To get around notices most torrentfreaks use VPNs', I just use Peerblock myself (blocking 1 billion IPs and counting!). If usenet works for you then by all means use it. though you could have all 4 seasons downloaded in a 13 GB torrent in a pretty reasonable time in very nice quality......I don't know if you can get that on usenet or not, never used it myself.

Happy Pirating! (I actually prefer the term "filesharing" though. I have never considered what I do as stealing. Someone paid for it, ripped it, and shared it for free and I watch it and delete it. What the fuck am I stealing? If you steal something, something goes missing. The thieves are the ones who overcharge for it so I can't afford to see it otherwise.)

Right now my ISP is Comcast. Though there is a new local ISP with 1Gb fiber optic service moving in to the area for about the same price as Comcast's 4 Mb service that I will probably switch to when I can.
Actually almost always I can download faster from usenet than torrents, (a 13 Gb file set would take about 30 min)but it's nice to have both options, if you can't find something on one it's usually on the other.

Wow, I am hating you. I don't have anything near that download speed.

Comcast is one of the bad ones, they are involved in that whole 3-strike campaign. As a matter of fact they are involved in a current legal battle with the RIAA abd others who want them to disconnect 200,000 subscribers. Comcast says they are full of shit about their takedown notices and the RIAA says they signed a contract or something. I hate the RIAA, they are worse than the MPAA and those guys are real scum. Torrentfreak has an article about it.

I hope you enjoy Game of Thrones, it is one of the best series ever made. If you never watched Dexter see if you can download that series as well, it was awesome.

Upon occasion I repair the odd computer, and it seems a waste to not copy any and all media files over to my external. My Karaoke collection now exceeds 300,000 files, some dupes of course.
Music files, 400,000 and counting..
Last month the complete Dexter folder came along..
And of course, Bing has all the pr0n needed.. :)

Also, my ISP includes Usenet for free..
