Torrent attachments are now mandatory - Akiba-Online

From now on, all new torrents posted on Akiba-Online must be directly attached. If you have a new thread with multiple torrents, you must attach ALL of the torrents. Doing so is very easy, just follow the numbers:

Yay! This is great, but I think a lot of the people who are the big uploaders of torrents may not speak English too well as a lot of them seem to come from China.

That is to say they may not take heed of this notice, and if decisions are made by the mods to ban these people for not attaching the torrent to the forum...I think we may see a significant decrease in torrent uploads.

Just my opinion though, could (hopefully) be wrong.

Excellent! Let the infractions and banning begin! I mean let the easy & use of simple torrent downloads multiply.

vBulletin automatically blocks new threads without torrents, so the only warnings & infractions we'll be handing out are for those people that try to cheat the system. Like for example, someone that posts a new multi-torrent thread but fails to attach all of the relevant torrents.

report button if you see someone breaking the rules. That really helps the staff members keep a tight ship.

I hate it when some douche uses easyshare or some other file share service just for a torrent. It would be somewhat different if that person was the only one who was seeding,but thats not the case and that individual is basically trying to profit from what others are doing.Even worse is that easyshare and some other file share services require that you wait 15 minutes,15 minutes for a file that is only around 14 kb.

I have noticed the loss of 2 prolific posters who consistently lead us away from Akiba just to collect their "$" for clicks. They will be missed...... sort of like you miss toothache
