Rie Tanaka

Rie is a seiyuu, but she's also somewhat of an idol. Granted, she's best known for her contribution to anime, so I'll start this thread here. I adore Rie Tanaka. Not only does she voice one of my favorite anime characters (Lacus Clyne), this lady has got to be one of the best singers in any language. She's got a kind of airy, mature, and gentle voice that never fails to put a smile on my face. If that weren't enough, Rie is incredibly beautiful. I'm surprised I couldn't find a thread dedicated to her before, since she seems to appear in more photos than most seiyuu.

IMO, I think she's the beautifulest in seiyuu industrie (believe me or not but there's not a lot of beautiful seiyuus...) and has an incredible versatile voice.
Like you said, she's one of the best singers in seiyuu industrie. IMO, she's one of the top four with Maaya Sakamoto, Horie Yui & Nana Mizuki.

About her works, I recognize since 3-4 years, she didn't dub a lot (she got married two years ago) and she does a lot of photos (two photobooks in the two past years) on contrary to her seiyuu debut.

Also two another reasons, we must love her : she's one of the rare cosplay seiyuu and she likes video games (Monster Hunter, Dead Space, Final Fantasy).

I'm a big fan as well. She is a good singer, and her voice acting is great (though I have to admit I had a thing for Suigintou before I even knew who voiced her.)

And her photobooks are hot. I hope she does more.

im quite a fan of her, she sang chobit's song!! that's like one of the earliest anime song i've listened to!!!
