This Tokyo thrash unit has waged a highly-charged, high speed war on the scene since the early 90s and yet only now has the first SLIGHT SLAPPERS full length been realized. It's about goddamn time!!! This disc was all I was hoping it would be and more. Twenty tunes that pull no punches when it comes to tsunami powered fast blasts. And I won't even get into the completely bizarre naked guy pics on the cover. They smash headfirst thru bruising mini-epics like 'Tokyo Power Violence' and 'Sgt Slappers Lonely Hearts Club Band'. The only thing that could possibly be better than listening to this album is seeing 'em live. They're seriously one of the most out of control live bands I've ever seen, not to mention some of the more truly good-hearted individuals in the scene. I'll be singing the praises of SLIGHT SLAPPERS 'til the cows come home, so it's in your best interest to check 'em out while you have the chance. (Chris Dodge) - Short Fast & Loud #7
